Welcome! At Highgrove we want your children to feel connected, confident and equipped for their life with God and one another. If you are interested in coming along to church on a Sunday morning or just want to find out more, please contact us.

During our Sunday services, children stay for our worship and welcome as one church together before we meet in different age groups. Sparklers is for children aged 1-4 and All Stars is for 4-11 year olds. Are your children older than that? Check out our Youth page!

Sparklers

 

Sparklers is for children aged 1 - 4 years. It’s a loving and safe space where we learn about God through free play, sensory activities, stories and songs. We meet in the back room in our 9.30 am service and parents are welcome to stay or leave their children.

Do you have children under 4 but want to come to the 11 am service? You are more than welcome! You can keep your child in the service with you. As a church family, we welcome having your little ones with us. If you would prefer a quiet space during the service, there is a baby room at the back of church with toys and comfy chairs, where you can watch the live streamed service.

All Stars

All Stars is for all children in Key Stage 1 and 2 (4 to 11 year olds). We focus on having groups with smaller age ranges so your children can build friendships and grow in faith together. Through conversations about faith, praying and lots of games, crafts, and lots of fun, we aim to help each child feel part of our community. All Stars meet during both the 9.30 am service and the 11.00 am service.

Football Church

 

Once a month during our spring and autumn terms, the 11.00 am service has Football Church! Open to all children aged 7 to 11 who want to improve their football skills while exploring faith together. We start at Highgrove Church and then walk to Sea Mills Rec together.

There’s no need to register in advance for Sparklers or All Stars, but if you’d like more information, please click on the button below and fill out the form. If your child would like to come to Football Church, please contact us through the same form before attending.

Midweek Meetups

If you have children who are not yet in school, you are very welcome to join us during the week. 

Tuesday mornings – Soul Space
Soul Space is for women of all ages (0–80!). Come along for coffee, cake, and a catch-up from 9:30am, and find a comfy seat. We usually have a Bible reading at around 10:00am, followed by some questions to chat through in small groups. There are toys and sensory play available for babies and pre-school-aged children. 9:30–11:00am at Highgrove, term-time Tuesdays – please check the Diary for dates.

Thursday mornings – Little Acorns
Little Acorns is our toddler group, meeting on term-time Thursdays from 9:45–11:00am. It costs £1 per session, and each week we enjoy different crafts, sensory play, toys, and games for children aged 0–4 years. Find out more on the Little Acorns page.
